This is one of my favorite photos of one of my favorite stretches of my walk to work in the mornings. This quiet little stairway in the side of the hill is lovely, it’s true. More than that, I treasure this peaceful time and place for reflection and prayer in the morning. It’s a very good way to begin the day.
This verse about wisdom is from Proverbs 3:17, “Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.” I can imagine the cool canyon breeze on my face and almost hear the song of the birds in the trees even here at my desk. When things begin to feel chaotic and emotionally charged it’s truly a blessing to be able to take a deep breath, become still, and listen to the quiet whisper of wisdom as it restores peace and calm in my heart.
